Just tested this and confirmed that it works for copying your UI window positions (and possibly other stuff) across characters.
For Win7 (and probably Vista; not sure where it's at on XP):
- Start menu -> Run... (or type in the search box) -> %appdata%, then click OK
- Go up one from Roaming and go into Local (c:\users\<yourusername>\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_g ames_eve_tranquility\settings)
- In there you should see core_char__.dat, core_public__.dat and core_user__.dat. Copy the core_user__.dat file to the same folder on your other machines and it should copy the window positions (and possibly overview stuff, but I haven't tested that).
- NOTE: If you're using ISBoxer, it will be in there too but it will be named core_user_1234567.dat or something similar. Each of those is a different character. Just duplicate the one you wanna copy and rename it to the same name as the others (you'll have to overwrite them) and that's it.
Hope this makes it easier to dupe your settings. Painful that this isn't an exportable option but it's easy enough to do.
Cheers and happy Thanksgiving for those celebrating it.
