Default Problems with Grid Custom Layouts

When i try to order my toons by name and only show them on my grid and not the rest of the BG it doesn't work.

Any tips. I also can't order by name, it stops me for whatever reason and i have to do it by class.

If you want specific names, you can try this format:

    ToonA,ToonB,ToonC,ToonD,ToonE;sortMethod = "LIST"
    n1;NOR
    n2;NOR
    n3;NOR
    n4;NOR
    n5;NOR

Or if you prefer alphabetical, so you can heal others in a BG, then go with:

    order=NAME;
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

    Customlayout config is enigmatic atleast,
How would you allow one static space for say a real person? i.e my wife but have her toon always occupy the same spot w/o adding 234343 names to the list

You can define more then one set of views.
And quickly go into the options... /Grid Config ... to choose the current Layout.
Maybe have one which is alphabetical, and another which is your five specifically.

When others are in the party, switch to the alphabetical listing.
That way, you can still use the Grid frame for click healing and such.
And it will be the same order on every screen.
And allow the non-standard names etc.
    EverQuest I: Bard / Enchanter / Druid / Wizard / 2x Magician.
    Diablo III: 4x Crusader & 4x Wizard.

Sorry for digging this thread up again but I've run into a small "problem".

I've set up my grid to show my 4 shamans (ditched my DK) but if I decide to do a dungeon etc it won't show my last party member without me swapping to the normal group layout.

The way I've set it up is like this (taken from the example above):

    PM1,Pheronatwo,Pheronathree,Pheronafour,Pheronafiv e;sortMethod = "LIST"
    n1;NOR
    n2;NOR
    n3;NOR
    n4;NOR
    n5;NOR

As you see I've added a PM1 in there as a long shot fix for getting it to show my party leader in the first slot (that way I can just promote the dungeon tank) but it didn't do anything.

Anyone know what to replace the "PM1" with for grid to show my last party member or the party leader?
