Default [WoW] Possible patch 2.4 notes

Hmm... This thread has since been baleeted by Blizzard. The last time a list like this came out it was almost verbatim what's in 2.3, except for minor differences in how class abilities ended up. Here ya go, let the rumors begin!

    General

    * 30 point and 40 point self-buff talents’ base resistance to dispel has been increased by 10/20% respectfully.
    * Flight path added from Auberdine to the Exodar.
    * Talin Keeneye, Gnomish Transporter in Booty Bay will now teleport players to Gadgetzan. Jubie Gadgetspring in Gadgetzan will be happy to teleport players back.
    * Spirit now increases your base resistance to dispel effects. At level 70, 400 spirit will roughly equal 15% resistance.
    * Shooting with wands will no longer trigger a cooldown.
    * Spell Push Back diminishing returns have been tightened. When being struck while casting a spell, the casting time will be increased by 0.8 > 0.5 > 0.3 > 0 seconds. Previously it was 1 > 0.8 > 0.6> 0.4 > 0.2 seconds thereafter.
    * Players are able to participate in the cart races in the Shimmering Flats. Races will occur every hour, similar to the STV Arena. The players will receive reputation with the Shimmering Speedsters for completing and winning races. A Speedster 5002 K and Speedster 5002 K (epic land and air) mounts will be prizes for the most dedicated of Shimmering Racers.
    * Due to the purchase of their epic mount skill, the Darkmoon Faire team will take less time to travel between Elwynn Forest and Mulgore, consequently staying set up for longer. Additionally, faire goers will be able to experience a variety of new daily questions, with gold, recipe and other rewards.
    * Dressing Room Updated. The dressing room may now be used to display how an item will affect your current stats. Your current stats, such as stamina, crit, resistance etc

    Racial Abilities

    * Human Spirit changed to “Mountmanship”. Passive: Reduces mount cast time by 30% and increases mount speed by 10%.
    * Mana drained by Mana Tap and mana returned by Arcane Torrent increased by roughly 100%. Mana tap cooldown increased to 45 seconds, buff duration increased to 15 minutes.
    * Stoneform duration increased from 8 to 13 seconds.
    * Throwing Specialization replaced with “Voodoo Child” Passive: Increases Spell damage, healing and attack power by 50% of your level

    UI

    * New tab added under the character sheet in game called “Dungeons”. This tab will list all instanced dungeons in game. The name of each dungeon will expand to reveal a list of bosses found within that dungeon. The names of each boss will be color coded, depending on whether or not that boss as been killed (GREY=not attempted, RED=attempted but not completed, YELLOW=guild master has completed it, but player has not, GREEN=player has completed it). This tab will also appear in the armory.
    * Your current target will display as a white dot on the minimap if you are tracking them.
    * On the character selection screen, a mail icon will appear if that character has unread mail in their mailbox.
    * Players can now rearrange the order of their characters on the Character Selection Screen.
    * Aspects of the UI are now ‘unlockable’ in the Interface Options. The player health/mana, Target health/mana, Current Buffs and actions keys are all movable. A “Reset Interface” button has been added to revert the changes.
    * Number of players able to be stored in your ignore list significantly increased.
    * Command /whisperfriend, /tellfriend, /wf and /tf will send a message to all your mutual friends (friends who have you on their friends list also).

    Battlegrounds and Arenas

    * A small bonus amount of honor is awarded to those who enter the battleground within 60 seconds of commencing and staying until the end.
    * Reputation rewarded for tasks in battlegrounds has been significantly increased. High end potions, food, water may be purchased for honor from their respective battle masters.
    * In addition to 400 honor, the battleground daily quests also offer 2 marks of honor for their respective battleground.
    * Trinkets may now be changed while in the Arena, however the player must be out of combat to do so.

    Dungeons and Raids

    * Guild Tabards now contain “Absolute Gem slots”. Absolute Gems are significantly lower in stats than other gems, and drop from the final boss in 10 and 25 man raids. (The “Kael’s Orb” gem will appropriately drop from Kael, and will grant +2 stamina).

    * Zul’Farak, Sunken Temple, Stratholme, Scholomance, and Upper Blackrock Spire have been slightly retuned. Zul’Farak has been reduced to level 39-46. Sunken Temple to 45-50, Stratholme/Scholomance to 49-53 and Upper Blackrock Spire to 55-58.
Dungeon Tier 1 will drop from Bosses in Sunken Temple, while Raid Tier 1 will take the old place of Dungeon Tier 1 in Scholomance, Stratholme and UBRS. By doing this we aim to make the progression from 50 to 60 more fluid.
o Non-boss enemies in Karazhan have had their respawn timers slightly increased.

    o ENGINEERING
o New Skill, requires 150: De-Tinker. Takes apart a crafted engineering device, returning a small amount of the original materials required to make it.

If this debuff is dispelled prematurely, it will drain mana/energy/rage instead. .5 second cast, 30 second cooldown. Druids seeking this spell should seek out the druids of Moonglade.
o Soothe Beast is now instant cast.

    Priests
o The 6 second buff granted by Lightwell will also increase movement speed by 10%. If a target is struck while this buff is active, the attacks damage is reduced by 50% and the buff cancelled. May not use Lightwell while this buff is activated.
o The talent Enlightenment also effects healing and resilence.

    Warlocks
o 10% of the warlock’s resilence is added to their demon.
o Banish’s effect has been significantly decreased in PvP and now shares the same diminishing returns as Cyclone and Blind.

    Paladins
o New Retribution Talent: Mind of Might: Increases your spell damage by 5/10/15/20/25% of your total Attack Power.

    Shamans
o If Earth Shield is dispelled, the target is healed 75 hitpoints for each charge left.

    Are these real?

We'll see how much of this ends up in the actual 2.4.

They're making room for moving all pre-BC Raid armor to lower dungeons because of the move of Naxx is my guess.....

The poster of that thread said it was his 2.4 wishlist. People were asking him questions like why there was no Rogue section and he said he didn't add any because he doesn't know enough about the class to come up with any.
