Default Nvidia SLI is Supported in WoW and it benefits from it

According to Drysc he uses it and gets increased performance and at one point says it is officially supported.

    Was news to me.

I believe it works, but you can only use one monitor if you are in SLI.

If that's true, then it's a limitation of SLI only. I run a Crossfire setup with dual monitors.

I posted this here because here (and other places) it was "common knowledge" that WoW did NOT support SLI and would actually take a performance hit because of it when apparently that is not true.

No idea about the dual monitor thing.

I've heard that it is inefficient on 2 or more moniters? Ive heard this more for crossfire than SLI.

I believe this requires moving it from the recommended nVidia setting which may imply that any issues while playing the game in SLI will not be supported by them. I've never had any problems with it though. I think I use AFR1.
    All news to me too!!

I'll favourite this thread - it's a question that's bound to come up again
