    Default new 5boxer needs advices

Hi, I just started doing 4 toons on my box for like 2 weeks or so, and I use keyclone for the job. My team setup is
    prot pally,
    arcane mage,
    elemental shaman
    resto shaman.

I have some problems when it comes to healing. I use the 2 posted macros on the pally and I bind the 969 spam macro on the same key with the dps spam macro on the dps. Is there a way to delay the macro such that it gives me some time to build some aggo on the pally? It's the shaman's chain lightning that sometimes pulled aggo and end up getting 1 shot'd by the mobs i pulled. Also, is there a way to heal the target with lowest hp? I dont have mouse cursor broadcast on keyclone i think and current i just bind a key where the resto shaman will cast chain heal on the mage , the elemental shaman will cast chain heal on the resto shaman, and having the mage iceblock. My pally usually gets really low when there's alot of group healing needed / group getting low trying to keep pally up. ( my usual healing is keeping es on the tank and refreshing riptide and casting lhw when needed, and i do it all manually with 3 keys BUT when the group needs healing, i always end up not having es/riptide on tank and just spamming the chain heal button and the lhw button) Please give me some advices on game play ,keys, and addons for improvement.

Also, I am planning to lvl up another toon to fill the last spot. I have been considering a priest/druid to take over healing and respec the resto shaman to elemental, or a warlock / balance druid for dps, or a dk tank with pally healing/dpsing

All advices are welcome, thanks for the help

You should have a separate pull key to start the pally off before the DPS. If you aren't very high level yet, just put a macro for judgement and consecrate on it. After you lay that down, you should be able to switch to the normal spam key.

No, you have to manually heal. Get a mod like MSBT or something that will announce when ES expires, or DBM's Spelltimers to track Riptides. There's macros in the Wiki for setting up a rotation for Riptide healing. Other than that, try reading. There's tons of threads on how to manage healing with a shaman.

I would get a healing addon like VuhDo or Healbot. Visaul bars tell you who to heal and a choice of heals via which mouse button you push.
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor
    MultiBoxers play with themselves

ya i do have the pull macro on the pally, but once i used that to pull then i just start spamming the spam macro hmm may be i should put the same macro on another button too so that i can push it without broadcasting.

i know you can do click cast on vuhdo / healbot to heal but how do you mouseover/click heal on your tank's interface and have your resto shaman heal?

Regarding mouseover healing while controlling your tank and sending the clicks to your healer, which broadcasting software are you using? ISBoxer will do it very well, HotKeyNet can do it, though it doesn't work great to send mouseclicks (probably ok for most PvE applications), and I've heard KeyClone can do it though there are issues.

or you could just macro your healer's spam on the same button as tank/dps. and then use the numpad for any OHSH*T situations.

My druid basically spams rejuv at approx the correct rate on all targets while I tank & spank, and either use numpad for big heals or do the click through. This may be a little difficult with Keyclone as the resolution of windows is different so you won't be clicking exactly the same location in each window.

ISBoxer & innerspace link if you REALLY want mouse broadcasting:

This has some info on setting up grid + clique:

i am using keyclone right now and would like to know if it's possible to do mouse broadcasting. My keyclone actually has some problems itself too .. like i have main window in the center and the slave windows on the side but i can not bring the slave window to the front somehow.. like ********.. i duno why.

as for the healing thing... hmm i am thinking about if i can just put the mobs on the focus on the tank interface... and then i just target the toon that needs healing manually and do a /assist + healing on my healer to heal the one i want to heal.

or just add a priest to the group and respec the shaman to elemental... and spam coh / holynova haha

not a bad idea. you could also try NUM1 = Tank, NUM2 = DPS1 etc...

Keyclone does do mouse broadcasting, from what I can remember you need to action the repeating function with a key and isn't very accurate.

I believe HotKeyNet does it much better but you'll need to ask the forums for someone with more experience than me...

Innerspace also does mouse broadcasting. Do a search there's LOADS of info on how to click through and heal using addons such as healbot, vuhdo and grid. However be ready for a slight performance hit if you have an ageing machine...

Keyclone's mouse broadcasting never worked terribly well for me. It was ok for dropping the occasional targetted AOE spell, but it never seemed to be accurate or reliable enough for healing. I had to stick with individual macros to heal like TheFunk mentions.

Most people seem to use Innerspace with Vuhdo or some other mod, but there's more than a few guides for setting that up and how it works, so I've got nothing to offer on that. I've only used Innerspace/ISBoxer in EQ2 and only for a few months.

I use HotKeyNet. However, you'll need to understand the language to write the scripts. A couple examples here and here. You can also configure the hotkeys themselves to simply be reactive based on position without actually passing the mouse, which gives you the reliability of per-toon macros with the ease of mouseover.

i just switched to the HKN and just set it up so that 1 wow is centered and 4 other wow on the right side ... just like the keyclone setup...

is it possible to switch foucs for the wow windows? like switching 1 of the 4 side wow to the center by a keyclick and put the wow1 to the side etc....... i tried to play around with the pip code.. resizing the windows on a key press.... but not much luck.

also is there a way to limit the fps on the sub-windows like ********/kc?
