With the announcement of the new Scroll of Resurrection, I imagine a lot of multi-boxers are thinking about re-subbing.

When I start my next set of RaF here shortly, get them leveled up, and sort everything out... I will be taking you up on that offer. ;)

yeah, will have my 5 shaman, pally and 5 dk's to guild up in the next few days once all the ressing, resubbing and transfers are done

The new scroll of ressurection kind of sucks. I quit wow for 2 years and litterly just re-activated my accounts last week and paid $160 to get my 4 shaman accounts. I tried to use the (old) scroll but it said services was unavilable. I even waited a few days thinking it was just a temporary error. I'm now on hold with Blizzard to ask them to credit back the cost of Cata and if they're feeling generious, boost my DK team to level 80 and get the free epic flying mount.

A lot of people must be calling because "If you are calling about the new scroll of resurection, press 8" and there's a 22 minute hold time.

Heh, I feel the pain. When I started Rift a while back, I got all mine set up and then a week later they introduced RAF. :/

I called Blizzard customer support and long story short the supervisor I spoke with agreed to let me do the scroll even though I activated my accounts a week ago.

I just need someone from The Zerg to send me 5 invites!

Are you guys still trying to keep The Zerg to level 65+? I know Oath just invited my Huntard team to Protoss yesterday, but I certainly wouldn't mind being able to utilize all the perks of a level 25 guild while boosting them as quickly as possible.

Oath typically likes to keep the low level teams in <The Protoss> and all level 85s in <The Zerg>. The main reason is the <The Zerg>'s guild roster is absolutely full to the brim with 85s mains and alts.

We use a mod called Interlink Guild Chat that unifies all the guilds and rosters together while you are online.

Server transfer success!

It pays to call Blizzard and talk to them, they're pretty cool. Initially they told me no, they wouldn't transfer my tunes (Because I had re-activated my account after a 2 year absence a week before the new scroll went live) but I talked to a supervisor and she hooked me up with refunding my 5 Cata purchases, then free upgrade back to Cata and free server transfer faction change to Mag! :)

Hey guys I was in the zerg and despite my playing every day my toons keep getting kicked. I moved all my boxing toons to N E R D S until I can find someone online to re inv us. I had 4 teams in the zerg and one in the protoss but all of the toons i had in the zerg got booted.

Does anyone play on Magtheridon who lives in Brisbane, Australia?

I'm tempted to transfer a shaman or mage team over to you guys. Although I do love the work you guys do (except for that fail IoC you guys versed us in), it's the zero queue time that horde currently have that is forcing my hand. We played last night and waited 20 minutes for a pop using preform....it's just getting ridiculous.

If the latency isn't an issue, I'll be transferring this week :P

Jesssssssssss... The number one reason Void and I transferred to Kil'Jaeden was to be with other multiboxers like McWrathy. The number two was to have the OP Human trinkets :)

Considering restarting WoW and boxing now that I'm starting to get settled after my move. Are there any active players 12-1700 EST or so? Just curious as I'm now overseas.

Yeah, most of us are late night players. We work hard during the day then play hard during the night. I know several of our members forgo sleep on many occasions :)

Never enough time to farm all the Alliance tears.

I had the best time i have had in years last night. At first I was a tad bummed, i have not played my shaman team much this expansion, I PvPed a lot during wotlk and just forgot that i had next to zero PvP gear on them. So I was a tad worried i would suck hard in the cross server AV group. But I was always in the top 10 or so HKs ( i mean its kind of hard not to be with chain lighting spam right? ) Basically I got carried, but had a blast, winning non stop AVs while playing as Horde was GREAT! I think i got about 3-4 pieces of gear on each toon. I cant wait for April and AV and IoC weekends 8)

With more boxers coming, I am looking forward to some all boxers BGs, have never done that, just having 2-3 5 boxers in an AV was crazy fun!

I'll bring my Pallies over with the free move but I don't foresee the cash to move my DKs over anytime soon. With the way that MoP talents look I'm pretty sure it's going to swing back to Pallies being the best melee team. Hard.

I would reroll on Magtheridon, but I'm concerned that the server is low-medium pop and that wouldn't sustain my income needs.
Would you guys consider moving the entire guild to a high pop server?

LOL, no.

Moving the entire guild, which contains hundreds of multi-boxed toons would cost a small fortune. If it was free, it might be a consideration. Until that day, I doubt we'll ever move.


According to wowprogress.com Magtheridon is rank 28 in the US in terms of progress and population. We sport a population of around 11k people with an equal number of Horde and Alliance. We are definitely a medium population server.

In terms of economy, I find it to be strong. I've easily made 100K in the last month with little effort. This was done by selling gems and essences.
Now, if you are a auction house power seller, then it could be a problem for you.

If you are truly concerned, your best bet is to compare the auction house between your current realm and Magtheridon using TheUndermineJournal.com .

That will give you a really good idea on the volume of trades.

However, there are several advantages to a medium population server

• A actual community of players that know each other
• No login-queues
• No lag
• Not too much competition for resources (farm in peace)

The only advantage a large population server has is economy. I can't think of anything else.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, that's basically my concern about the economy. I sell a bunch of stuff in AH and on Tich which has more than double the population, I still can't sell fast enough.
I'll probably reroll on Illidan. It's going to suck when MoP starts but after 2 weeks it goes back to normal.

I think monks have a lot of potential! melee..heal..tank specs. No auto attack but it will be fun to see how they do.

It took about 10 hours to finally get through the process with my first toon. /wrists
I'm expecting it to take the rest of the week to get the other 4 invited/upgraded/transferred. What a beating.
