hey im lookin for some castsequence macros for arms, having trouble making some

[WoW] General Macro Setups for 5 accounts

If you have 5 characters in your team, but they are all different, I'm confused how I should set up my macros.

If I had 5 shamans, I would have keystroke 1 map to my lightning on all of my Shamans.

But lets say that I have lots of different classes.

1 x Shaman
1 x Mage
1x Warlock
1 x Druid
1 x Priest

How should I set up my macros for this?
I don't understand an efficient way to make sure all my keypresses are optimised.
(This isn't my actual team)

Okay I updated to the new Jamba version 0.7. Now my team list all the members I ever added, even though no one is online, Is there a way to only show the people online or in my party. Thanks for any help.

stopcasting with the Grid & Clique addon

Currently in my 5 box, my dedicated healer does nothing but heal and is not included in my dps button spam. This allows me to use repeater regions and I can click heal away without ever havign to stop my dps spam.

I current use repeater regions, grid and Clique.

Ideally, in many cases, I'd like to use the healer as dps as well. Is there any way to set this up so heals always stopcasting first? Clique doesn't seem to have the option to do an automatic stopcasting.

Jamba question

Hey

Ive been useing Jamba since release and love it, now with this new Real-ID it seems when people write to me thougth that it dosnt always whisper my main char sometimes they talk to my clones and Jamba dosnt re-whisper it to my main char like the normal whisper does

Is this a known issue for you guys ?

I hope it can be fixed :)

To actually see what's going on, I recommend you view the 1080p version, full screen.

It's a new module called Jamba-Trade. Let me know what you think, improvements and suggestions / critism welcome. I have a little bit more work to do on it and I'll release it.

P.S. My first video, I need to work out how to add voice to it, but you should get the idea of what I've done from watching it.

Healing?

So i just started out with a few shamans and i already got the attacking down and stuff but was wondering how do you guys heal whether it's with a pally, priest, doesn't matter.
I just want to try out different macro setups so i can heal more efficiently

What i had setup as a macro on my shamans was

/target Name
/cast healing wave

so that when i pressed the hotkey they would all heal themselves. but i found it unnecessary to heal some of my characters when they did not need it.

**oh and is there a way to setup the macro so that if my health is xx-xx it does lightning shock and if it is xx-xx heals?
because yeah i know about modifiers but then i will still be healing some characters that don't need it.

...so in conclusion i would really like to know more about how you macros are setup for healing. =D

Alright... so i was wondering what is your fps set to.

I just wanted to know because i wanted to optimize my fps settings for the best performance.

I am currently running on i7 extreme 9gb ram and nividia 250gts 1gb

i am running 5 clients on 1 computer (2monitors)

and as of now i have it set to Maxfbg: 15fps and Max: 50.

So what are your settings?
I want to try other fps settings but don't really want to play around with the settings for too long.

*include your computer specs. *# of clients and performance.

Strange Macro Behavior -- Any Ideas ?

Hello Everyone,

In an effort to "fix" my subpar DPS on my toons, I decided to break down their macros and see if I could find where the problem might be.

I was working with my Ele Shaman this morning, and ran across something I thought unusual. Any advice, help, or suggestions to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Macro for Lava Burst : /castsequence reset=combat/target Lava Burst,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

(I mash my dps button at a steady 2 clicks per second) When I place this macro on my action bar that my /click macro points to, all by itself, it works flawlessly. It casts a Lava Burst, and casts the next Lava Burst right after the CD expires.

HOWEVER, when I place it with other macros in the /click, the lava burst sometimes fails to cast, and after it DOES cast, the next lava burst doesn't fire until 4 to 6 presses of the dps key AFTER it has come off CD.

The entire /click macro I am currently using is below

Currently, on the beta testing realm, /castsequence ignores empty comma seperated spells.

For exampe:

/castsequence Fireball,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Frostbolt

.. results in Fireball and Frostbolt being cast in row, without any blank casts.

I've been working hard the last few days and have made a heap of changes to Jamba. I'd love for some of you to install it and try it out and send me some feedback.

Jamba 0.7 has been released now...

To speed up Jamba's communications (pushing settings, quest watcher) up considerable, please put all your toons into the same group/raid.

Changes:

Core: Communications

No more changing team online channels for Jamba! Option added to Core: Communications that when checked will make Jamba assume all toons are always online (on by default).
Performance improvements for Jamba addon channel commands and messages. Make sure your toons are all in a party / raid and pushing settings, etc, will be much faster.
Added an option to tweak ChatThrottleLib settings to allow for faster addon traffic. Option is in Core: Communications and is called "Boost Jamba to Jamba Communications". The main change is to reduce FPS to 10 before the CTL cuts the traffic in half. This is on be default and may cause disconnections. If it does, please let me know.

Quest: Watcher

Massive performance improvement when completing quests. Should no longer get any lag.
Quest heading now shows (X/Y) where X is the number of toons that have the quest (watching it) and Y is the total number of toons in your team.
Can now click through to the background when over the quest watcher area.
Quest Watcher now needs to be unlocked (an option) before it can be moved with alt + left drag.
Added option to hide Blizzard's Quest Watch Frame when Jamba's is enabled.
Can now click on quest objectives to toggle the display of toons progress underneath.
Added option to show completed quests as 'DONE" rather than '10/10'.
Added option to _not_ hide completed objectives.
Quest Watcher heading now always visible (even if not watching any quests).
Added option to hide quests that are completed by all toons in the team.
Jamba Quest Watcher Is now in its own module so it can be disabled by those that do not use it.

Toon: Warnings (PVP)

AFK warning removed and replaced with InActive buff warning (you can actually turn this one off). Can some please test this works - I don't PVP.

Core: Settings

Settings are no longer tied to the Blizzard Addon area and are now in their own window. The window can be shifted around, and is a lot larger than the previous area. Each Jamba module now has its own help section (which still needs to be populated with helpful information, but at least has the slash commands for each module listed).

Follow

New slash command: /jamba-follow train Type "/jamba-follow train all" to have your toons follow one after the other. The follow order is decided by the order your toons are in the Core: Team list.

Tag

/jamba-tag add and /jamba-tag remove slash commands have been changed. They are now:
- /jamba-tag add
- /jamba-tag remove

Class based tags are now automatically applied to a toon. These tags cannot be removed or the tag added to a toon that is not that class.

Proc

Window location for the proc header bar now gets pushed with the other settings.

Mercurio's Macros

I've had a couple of requests for these so thought I'd post them here. I'm certain they aren't optimum, but they work well enough for me to have accomplished most everything I've tried. A couple of notes: I use Super Duper Macro which allows for really long macros (way beyond the 256 character limit). It is great and I recommend it. When creating a macro, I start with about 3 commas per second and adjust from there.

I don't use FTL, but use /assist focus in my DPS macros. I also like to have a basic targeting line in my macros so my guys shoot what the raid or party leader has targeted even if I haven't given them a focus. This may cause quick target switching, so I take out some of the reset=target code that would be used for optimum DPS (like on warlock immolate or ele shammy flame shock). I may lose a % or two on DPS, but my guys don't get stuck in endless loops of just putting up dots and nothing else like they would if reset=target was in those macros.

I also have a lot of commented-out lines that aren't a bad idea to use, but I've taken them out for now.

Anyway, I hope these are some use to this great community.

FINALLY! They are turning on the ability to use third party software next beta build WOOT! hate not knowing my dps or not being able to test click macros with the new abilities etc..

Noob Question about macros

Hello Everyone,

I have been attempting to tweak my macros to improve the DPS on a couple of my toons. After reading through the wiki, a question has jumped into my brain that I need to have answered.

In several of the macros, after the spell is placed, there are several commas and then a space then more commas.

What is the purpose of having the space between the commas ? Is it just a placeholder, to keep track of how many commas have been used ?
